This device serves as a GPS-based rally odometer featuring functions similar to the Halda Twinmaster, designed for precise mileage measurement and interval tracking.

The upper counter displays the main mileage, while the lower counter tracks auxiliary and interval distances.

The start button initiates GPS monitoring, indicated by green text upon activation. The stop button ceases GPS tracking correspondingly.

Adjustments to the upper mileage counter can be made using the 1, 0.1, and 0.01 buttons. The Z-Aux button resets the trip meter to zero, and the Split OM function displays the mileage at the moment of pressing, also resetting the trip counter.

The Factor field allows users to input a numerical value for calibration; pressing it opens a numeric entry interface, and the Set Factor button applies the entered value and closes the entry window.

Chevron buttons enable users to set the direction of mileage accumulation. The GPS Accuracy indicator provides a count of GPS readings since last zero or start point, along with horizontal accuracy parameters for recent readings.

For safety, reverse and stop buttons are activated via swiping gestures instead of presses to prevent accidental engagement.

Mileage updates occur approximately once per second, ensuring real-time tracking accuracy.

The system includes two customizable interval timers, configurable in settings for units (kilometers or miles) and measurement mode (seconds or cents). Both timers can be reset or started with specific functions: zeroing all counters with GPS/0 or resetting individual timers. T1 can be programmed to delay until the top of the minute before starting.

Functionality for timers includes starting, stopping, pausing, and switching between timers efficiently. Pausing and resuming preserve timer states, facilitating practical use during rally events.

Extended operation of GPS in the background can significantly reduce battery life; it is recommended to operate with a charger connected during prolonged use.
